Daily reminders
A small daily nudge — on your terms, never at the wrong hour.
Reading is a habit. Lupa can send a small daily reminder built around words you've already looked up, so the habit keeps going on the days you don't open the app. Every reminder is optional and every one can be turned off on its own.
What you can receive
Open the User Menu, tap Notifications, and you'll see toggles for each of these.
- Word of the day. A word from your Glossary, served once a day at your preferred time.
- Streak milestones. A short note when your reading streak hits a meaningful number.
- Streak reminders. A gentle nudge if you're about to lose a streak you've been building.
- Weekly summary. A round-up at the end of the week — how many new words, what stood out.
- New features. Sent only when something noteworthy ships.
Pick your time
Below the toggles, choose the hour you'd like daily reminders to arrive. Lupa sends Word of the day and other scheduled pushes at that local time.
Lupa avoids late-night sends regardless of the time you pick. If you set 06:00 but you're in a timezone where that's the middle of the night for someone else, the reminder still respects local time on the device receiving it.
Weekly email digest
In the Email section of the same screen, opt in to a weekly summary by email. It arrives on Sunday mornings and lists the words you looked up that week, with a few worth revisiting.
You'll only receive the email if you're signed in and looked up at least one word that week. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
